where is the aqua?

how could there not be any water supply for the washroom??? suffered 3 days now. furthermore, my office is at the freaking 18th floor! do you know how stinko it could get without any water?? someone surely ate something wrong because you could scent the dung from outside the washroom (yuck! yuck! pui!). the whole gang from the office had to try their luck at the lower levels. ground floor till 3rd floor are safe. i really don't or can't or refuse to understand which inconsiderate and thoughtless headed person could conveniently take her shower at the ground floor washroom. practically leaving everyone cursing. haiyaaaaa ... i really can't take the long queue and the stinko smell. when the shit hits the fan at times like this, i will happily walk over to the next building, apparently a nice and cosy hotel and my butt surely deserves a 5 star treatment.

note to cheekypau : fast if possible and put off the damn aircond! if you can, learn the art to retract your bladder.

day to day office affair

malaysians and their funny terminology .....

my young, pretty and trendy colleague, selectively, had been asking her peers for "ubat (medicine)". Obviously the common reply would be "ubat sakit apa?". Conversation went on to "aiyah ... ubat ituuuuuuuuu." "ohhhhh. ada. nanti bagi" "ubat you warna apa?" "huh??? warna???" "merah-kah? biru-kah? hijau-kah? saya mau ubat biru, cepat sembuh." "ohhhhhh ... jangan bimbang, banyak cantik. sakit hati, sakit kepala, sakit jantung, macam-macam sakit, SEMUA pun boleh sembuh. guaranteeee!" "ok brother. nanti kita jumpa pukul 4pm. tempat biasa."

being a busy body and a curious person, i had to ask but received a funny crude answer to take no note of this medicine (*people like you, none of your business for your own good).

took me a good 5 minutes to figure out that ubat = cig. hmmmm ... not enough vocabulary? can't own up to the fact that you are a female smoker? or just trying to be funny?

wiz kid

from a wise little kid, merely 6 years old of age :

"would you prefer to be a scientist or a business man (like your dad) when you grow up?"

"a business man"

"but why?"

naively answered (the award winning answer) .....

"a business man makes alot of money. with the money, i can buy any scientist. i would be a rich business man who owns a scientist."

note to cheekypau : to be a wise and perceptive person, don't limit your thoughts.

YTL's barn thai

just imagine yourself walking through an eerie mangrove forest for 15 - 20 minutes. yup, a looooooooooooong stretch of 450 metre wooden walkway. to spice up a little bit of excitement, try walking through it when it's pitch dark. heaven knows what's out there and you could only rely on your ear sensors to tell you that the tide is up and various insects/animals are popping out. you might want to whisper to yourself a small prayer hoping that nothing would jump on you unexpectedly. the smell of the mangrove forest was also not pleasing to the nose.

nearly regretting from the long walk, all hope will turn out well once you get to discover that barn thai is "fully air-conditioned!". really really important ok. you don't want those creepy insects and irritating mosquitoes to bother you during your meal.

barn thai offers you nice thai cuisines. make sure you arrive by 8pm onwards, don't go earlier than that!! no reservation required. a meal like below costs about rm110 (inclusive drinks). the meal isn't spectacular and you could find better ones at kl. however, worth spending for the experience.

setting aside to my girlish interest and hello to my boyish side, i need to find out if you guys checked this out??? one can get hooked all day and night over this game. i wouldn't blame you because it's just so damnnnnnnnnn syiok! very brilliant to come up with a very realistic gaming experience. the award winning creator team deserves their title "Among the Year's Best, 2007". try to visualise an upgraded version of counterstrike rated 20x better because of it's sound effect, graffics, story line ...etc. the review and official site says it all. trust me on this. oh ya, playing it on the pc is always the best. so what are you waiting for??? get hooked on it NOW!!!

westin langkawi resort & spa, a 5 star vacation

presenting to you a 5 star vacation at the westin langkawi resort & spa. had a wonderful time at langkawi and turned out to be one of my best mini local vacation. a relaxing and an ideal holiday worth every single penny provided you stay at a 5 star accomodation. it's peak season from nov - jan. hence, expect it to be a little pricy. rm663 per night for a standard room. you could rent and bargain for a small kelisa at the price of rm75 per day. alcohol is darn cheap and alcohol lovers could enjoy being tipsy 24hrs.

swimming pool facing the scenic blue sea and island. the breeze is just so cooling. recommend to sign up for an island tour package (3 islands) for the price of rm45. worth it!

day and night, anytime, you could replenish yourself with their yummy cookies and refreshing drinks.

deluxe patio room which offers you with a king size bed and their signature Heavenly Beds® – guaranteed to offer a blissful night's sleep, your very own private patio, and other 5 star amenities.

it's just soooooooo romantic at night. close your eyes and enjoy the harmonious melody of westin's lounge band.

note to cheekypau : slaving yourself for work and money makes it mandatory for you to splash yourself with a wonderful and luxurious holiday at least once a year.

malaysia's public toilets

what comes into your mind when someone asks you about "malaysia's public toilet"? asked a friend to comment and he just replied with a "HAHAHAHHAHA!" then asked about the small fee that they would sometimes impose ie. rm0.20 / rm0.30 and he commented again that the "maintainance by any related malaysian party is doomed. hence, not worth the value."

in my opinion, when you need to pee then you need to pee NOW! if they charge you a fee, what option do you have? just pay, take a deep breath, suck in, say a little prayer and hope that you will come out alive.

i must post on this particular public toilet whereby it is money's worth. it's located at a tourist spot, langkawi. costs rm0.50 per entry. didn't bring a camera in when i had to go. so then i had to force someone else to go into the male's toilet and take a pic. hahaha! he then commented that it was so easy and relaxing to pee with the sound of the water streaming out from the miniature fountain. clean and smells nice too.

well done! to this toilet and not the easy pee-ing process *wink *wink

chilli chilli

stopped by at pun chun chicken biscuits & restaurant sdn bhd (@ bidor) for lunch. at first glance from the outside, nothing impressive from this tiny old corner shoplot. then i was told that this place used to be packed with customers but unfortunately fate wasn't the same upon the construction of a new highway which bypassed this 'ol town.

wan tan mee is one of their main attraction. then it's their biscuits/tid-bits.
since i am not a big fan of wan tan mee and dry stuff, my eyes were caught by my favourite chilli pickle. my jaw dropped when i saw it being served in a huge container. you can't get this kind of generosity at kl. within 15 minutes, a lady had diligently refilled the container. as a matter of fact, she's solely with the task of ensuring the chillies are always fully refilled. two thumbs up from me just because of their chillies :p~~~

stopped by at ipoh. again! very generous of the shop owner to serve their home made blended chilli in a big container. i just loveeeeee it!!!

contradiction

been visiting a few blogs to kill my boredom. it tickles me to see some of them taking a public stand to remain anonymous ie. unknown name, unknown picture, unknown identity, unknown source (a blog for the purpose of leashing out their frustration) etc.. but then after you scroll down a bit ... whooops!! a full access to their real name OR a full access to their vain pictures OR a chatter box with full of their personal friends leaving comments OR a full link access to their personal details OR allowing GOOGLE to pick it up. isn't it an irony.

* wink wink ^_* i've tried to live up to my 2007 motivational goals and i conclude that i am not perfect. hehehe ....

note to cheekypau : representing or giving out a contradictory statement indicates a mockery to a person's character. (all the best to my 2008 motivational goals!)
