rain rain go away

looking outside of the window, it's darn gloomy. the sun hidden behind the dark clouds. pouring cats and dogs. thunder beating as loud as the lion dance drum. i bet my tiny little umbrella isn't tough enough for this weather. 2 weeks without rain and why must it be today??? i've got 3 words to say about this ... darn! darn! darn! ... i need to go back to my defense of the ancients. it's waiting for me. new exciting maps to explore and need to kick some butt. ~ rain rain go away, please come back another day ~

note to cheekypau: huahuahahahah!! guess what!! a bunch of my friends returned back because it's flooding. massive traffic.

where to find apple toffee?

thinking back of the childhood days, i suddenly crave for my favourite apple toffee. where can you find it here at malaysia? back at uk, it's just so yummy and perfect. sweet coating outside and crunchy fresh apple inside. i wonder if back then it was just a toddler's sweet tooth phase and everything or anything coated with sugar is yummy. i just need to try it out again.

*slurp *slurp

boston restaurant, klang

amazing. you need to wait for 40 minutes to an hour or more for your food to be served. wonder if the patrons are with the opinion that the food is genuinely tasty or just too hungry to wallop it up in a hurry and believing it to be tasty.

house specialty noodle. don't know how to describe the flavour. there is abit of sweetness to it.

flour noodle. something really different. starchy taste. must give it a try.

ginger lala. you must check this signature dish! (note: HAVE IT and not TRY IT). the only explainable reason why people are willing to wait. eat it while it is steaming hot. slurp! slurp!

slam dunk contest

did you watch it on sunday???! how could you miss it???!

the title of 2008's slam-dunk king goes to howard. hip hip hooray.

years after years, players would crack their head to come up with the most creative slam dunk style. this year is definitely fresh and funny and awesome and memorable. thanks to howard!

howard, constantly showing off a big smile at the basketball court, showed us a good lesson that sports equals to fun and at the same time you CAN be a winner.

chinese new year 2008

chinese new year is here! the year of RaT! sounds crude ... hmmm ... the year of MiCe! i'm definitely in the festive mood. some playing cny music in their car *sounds like you are bringing the mall into your car, hehehe.

it's definitely the time of the year i'm going to frown my displeasure at the wild and mad shopping spree, terrible jam, jacked up prices, non-operating food stalls and not forgetting the shortage of cashflow at all of the ATM machines.

anyway, putting that aside, the overall spirit of cny is fun. family gatherings and eat, eat, eat and eatttttttttt! i have nothing to brag about since it's all about eating. so my dear february is dedicated to makan-makan.

GONG XI FA CAI to all of my family and friends!
