i have a confession ...
being deprived as a child on toys, gadgets, play station, etc, i justttttt had to get rid of my deprived obsession over a microscope set. yes! wanted soooooo much for this toys-r-us microscope set that i've spotted at singapore's toys-r-us when i was 9 years old. my deprived obsession was finally materialised in my early 20s. experimented on anything that i could think of.
fuhhhh yohhh!! how could you not drool over this cool device which could conduct real experiments. it's revolving turret is equipped with magnifications from 100x, 500x & 1000x. even features die-cast body, illuminating light, and projector for viewing specimens. neatly contained in a sturdy carrying storage case that includes the following: micro data bank with a number of samples, micro slicer, 12 blank glass slides, mini magnifying glass, 12 cover glasses, 12 blank labels, 12 slide covers, 4 collecting vials, stirring rod, petri dish, scalpel, needle, tweezers, spare bulb, condenser lens cap, 2 graduated cylinders, CD instruction manual and others.
now that i've outgrown it and the microscope set is still well preserved, hehe..., i've passed it down to my 9 yrs old niece as a birthday present (2nd hand gift but everyone thinks it's a 1st hand!! shhhhh....). she now sleeps with it and i am branded as her favourite best friend jie jie ^_^
note to cheekypau : need not tell it's 2nd hand and its worth passing down the old treasure to someone who unexpectedly appreciates your same joy and passion
